Today's Track Meet at Brewer is canceled, due to the rain. There is not a make up date for this meet. A decision on an indoor practice will be made and announced by noon.
The Softball scrimmage scheduled for Tuesday has been tentatively moved to Thursday, April 27.
Spring sports bring exciting times to Center Drive. Please remember to drive cautiously around our parking lots. Our athletes spend a great deal of time outdoors after school, practicing their track events and walking from the fields to the schools. Please watch for our students as you pull into the driveways.

Baseball/Softball News: The fields are already dry and ready for practice, so practices will be outside starting today, with the exception of inclement weather. Both baseball and softball practices will be from 3:00 - 5:00.

Softball and Baseball practices will begin on Monday, April 10. Come on out at 3:00PM today, to support our hardworking cast and crew for one last performance of "Night at the Wax Museum"! Friday night's performance was fantastic! Admission is $5 adult, $3 students and seniors. Be sure to bring extra cash for concessions and the Dessert Auction. All money raised goes right back into our Drama Department.

There will be a Parent Information Meeting, for parents of any students participating in Track & Field, on Wednesday, March 29 at 6:00PM in the cafeteria. If your student athlete has not participated in a school sport yet this year, please bring a pen and your child's insurance information.

The Middle School Spring Dance, for grades 5-8, is on Saturday, April 8 from 6:00-8:00. $5 admission and concessions will be available for purchase. Hope to see you there!
Today the Brewer Boys Varsity basketball team came to visit with our middle school students. Our students had an opportunity to see the gold ball trophy, earned as Brewer won the 2023 State Championship. We heard what it takes to show excellence as a student athlete, on and off the court. Not only did our students hear about teamwork and perseverance, but they also learned that this group of boys keep their academic grades high, serve as volunteers, and demonstrate strong leadership skills. Thank you, to Coach Goodwin and the Brewer Varsity team, for spending time with us!
Save the date! Come on out for a fantastic production by our Drama Club, who under the leadership of Pauline Miller, have worked so hard to put on a show for us! "Night at the Wax Museum: the Musical" will be presented March 31 at 6:00pm and April 1 at 3:00pm. More details are found in the graphic below.

Congratulations to the CDS Jazz Band, on their outstanding performance today!
Words from Mrs. Miller: "The CDS Jazz Band participated in the State Jazz festival on Saturday, March 18th at Hampden Academy.
The students rose to the occasion and performed brilliantly. Nine students performed a total of 14 solos over a 3 song program. Every one of those students earned perfect scores on their solos from all of the judges. That is an amazing feat. One student (Jacob Fletcher) earned an outstanding musicianship trophy.
The band scored the second highest score of any CDS band in over 30 years.
The band represented Center Drive in a positive and respectful manner.
There are no places awarded at the Jazz Festival, they just receive a rating. CDS earned a Silver Rating scoring a 93."
