Center Drive School

AOS 47 the Airline, Dedham and Orrington School Departments: All schools have a 2 hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday March 15,2023 due to the inclement weather and subsequent cleanup. All opening school functions will begin 2 hours later than our normally scheduled times. If the storm intensifies or shifts and we have to cancel I will send an additional message.

The CDS talent show is almost here! And if you think this is just for the middle school, you are wrong! We have acts representing students from pre-k all the way to 8th grade (and maybe an adult or two) and they are showing a variety of talents. We have singing, dancing, poetry, rock and roll, and even a couple of acts designed to make you laugh. We would love to see you here for dinner, too! We have spaghetti with homemade meatballs (also a vegan sauce), macaroni and cheese, salad, and breadsticks to be served before the show, and dessert to be served during the intermission. Not a fan of spaghetti? No problem, we have tickets for just the show, too! The 8th grade can't wait to see you. Here are the details: Tickets: Dinner and a show (dinner tickets must be purchased by Friday, March 17, no dinner tickets will be sold the day of the show) Adults $15, Children over three $10, Family (4+) $50 Just the show General Admission $5, Family (4+) $20 Tickets can be purchased in advance on myschoolbucks.com We will also have some raffles to be drawn the night of the show, and buckets for the audience to vote with dollars for their favorite act- the act with the most money in their bucket at the end of the show wins the "Crowd Favorite" award.

The Airline and Dedham School will dismiss at 11:30, the Center Drive School will dismiss at 12:00. If the storm intensifies or shifts and we have to cancel I will send an additional message.

Congratulations to the CDS Competition Cheer Team, for winning 1st place in the 2023 PVML Cheer Competition! Thank you, Coach Kristen Cox, and Assistant Coach Nikyla Bidler, for fostering the growth and talent of our Cheer Team! Way to go, Cheer Eagles! We are so proud of you!

Tonight is the PVML Cheer Competition, held at Bangor Christian's Crosspoint Auditorium! The Competition begins at 6:00pm, doors open at 4:30pm. Admission is: Adults $5:00 and Students/Seniors $3.00. Come on out tonight to cheer on our hardworking Competition Team! Good Luck, Cheer Eagles!

Boys A Team, we are so proud of you! You didn't get the result you were hoping for, but you battled hard and earned your spot in the championship game tonight. This has been an incredibly fun season to watch! Thank you, Coach Grant, for growing this team and sharing your passion for the game with these boys! Thank you for a fantastic season!

Congratulations to our Girls A Team, for winning the PVML "B Flight" Championship! Way to go, Lady Eagles! You have so much to be proud of! Thank you to Coach Charpentier, and Assistant Coach Deveau, for supporting this team in both character and skill!

Tonight is our final night of PVML Tournaments for our "A" Teams! Games will be held at Hampden Academy. Girls will play for the "B Flight" Championship, CDS vs Bangor Christian at 3:00. Boys will play for the "A Flight" Championship, CDS vs Caravel at 7:30. Admission is Students/Seniors $3.00, Adults $4.00, Family of 4+ $10.00. Although we didn’t get the outcome we were hoping for, our CDS Girls and Boys B Teams have a lot to be proud of! Both teams battled super hard tonight and have shown tremendous growth throughout the season. Girls and Boys B Teams, we are so proud of you! Thanks for a fantastic season!

PVML "B" Teams Championship games are today at Center Drive School! Starting off the night are Boys #1 Glenburn vs #3 CDS at 3:30. Girls #1 CDS vs #3 Bucksport will follow at 4:45. Admission for tonight is: Students/Seniors $3.00, Adults $4.00, and Family of 4+ $10.00. Our famous Concession Stand, run by the band and chorus department, will have an extended menu again. Let's match that energy that filled the gym last Tuesday, fill the stands, and cheer on our Eagles as they go for the WIN! Good Luck, B Teams!
