On Friday, January 23, five chorus students and 15 band students, had the privilege of participating in the 2026 District VI Middle School Honors Festival. This festival, hosted at Ellsworth Middle School, brought together talented young musicians from area schools in MMEA (Maine Music Educators Association) District VI. These students rehearsed together all day, culminating in a concert performance in the evening. Mrs. Miller reports that our CDS students were so focused, listening and working hard for their respective directors, representing our school with pride.
